Welcome to NutriEye. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
NutriEye is a mobile app for iOS and Android that analyses food product labels and barcodes using artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude model) and the Open Food Facts database, providing an indicative harmfulness score from 1 to 10, identified risks and a recommendation.
An account is required to use the app. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. The app is not intended for persons under 16. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.
To prevent abuse, the number of scans per day may be limited.
NutriEye Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited scans, full history and priority support. It is offered in two lengths:
The exact price in your local currency is displayed in the app on the Premium screen, and on the store product page, before you confirm any purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renew at any time after purchase:
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to its end.
We also offer scan packs (30 or 100 scans) as one-time, non-renewing purchases. They do not renew automatically and the scans do not expire.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from (Apple or Google) under their own policies; we cannot issue store refunds directly.
The score, risks and recommendations are indicative and generated automatically by an AI model based on available information. They may contain errors or incomplete data and do not constitute medical, nutritional or professional advice. For health, allergy or diet decisions, consult a professional. We accept no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of the app's results.
Product information is partly sourced from Open Food Facts, a collaborative database available under the Open Database License (ODbL). This data is provided "as is", may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not verified by us. The AI analysis is performed using Anthropic Claude.
The app, its name, logo and original content (including the scoring rubric) are the property of NutriEye. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission. Open Food Facts data remains under the ODbL license mentioned above.
We strive to keep the app running consistently but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; the current version is permanently published at this address.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app, from the Account → Delete account menu. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Details on data processing are in our Privacy Policy.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be settled by the competent courts in Romania.
